- This piece was created to emphasise the break through someone has had about their body image. Through years of sucking in, trying to be as thin as possible to please others and society’s standards, they’ve finally let themselves relax, breathe easy, and appreciate their body, instead of punishing it for not looking like someone else’s. This artwork conveys someone finally feeling comfortable in their own skin, and appreciating themselves as a whole, not just a body in need of change.
